WAHOOOO!!! My crew survived the first day of school and are all eager to go back for day #2! That right there is a first day of school success, friends!
Tab was out of town this week so I was up early trying to make that first morning special and then running kids to practice last night. I was exhausted by bedtime. At one practice another mom’s alarm started going off and she said that she had so many things to remember she’d just set alarms. That lady and I need to be friends. You might need to be her friend too.
Andrea and I are sharing some FRIDAY FAVORITES! My list of five is short, sweet, and all over the place.

You know around our house the Big 12 Conference will always have a little piece of our hearts. With all this talk about Texas and Oklahoma leaving for the SEC, I decided a FAVORITE hat needed to be worn this week. I sent this pic to a friend. Are you in favor of the move? No matter where Texas and Oklahoma end up, we’ll be cheering. And that goes for the rest of the Big 12 schools as well.

This meme was a FAVORITE. Everyday in 5th and 6th grade our recess consisted of a huge game of dodgeball. Oftentimes it was boys against girls. We had some tough girls in our class and we’d hold our own against those boys. But every once in a while a ball would slip….so this meme cracked me up.

On Sunday we celebrated our FAVORITE 40-year-old’s birthday with brunch after church. The food AND the company were both amazing!

My FAVORITE Peloton rides are Denis Morton’s country rides. Typically, they involve some older country and well, they’re my FAVORITE.

I took my FAVORITE third grader to meet the teacher this past week. He all of a sudden is embarrassed to take pictures and was a tad mortified I asked for some.
