What I've Been Priming Lately

Let's talk Amazon and what's been arriving at my doorstep lately.  Shall we?

Some of my friends might say I have meat issues and one of those happens to be preferring my ground meat really chopped finely.  If I'm eating chili or tacos the last thing I want to do is bite into a ginormous hunk of meat.  Enter this little meat chopper.  I had one from Williams Sonoma that I LOVED but it finally bit the dust, so I ordered this one from Amazon.  It's not AS good, but it's easier with Prime.

Bowen needed some new books-especially considering part of his new reading class has been taking place in his bedroom.  This book is a graphic novel I ordered and he was a fan.  So much so that I ordered Book #2.

Britt and I use these letters with the board almost everyday.  If you're homeschooling a pre-k or kindergarten student, I highly recommend this set.

I never realized we lacked an at-home pencil sharpener until we had supply packs full of unsharpened pencils!

Nixon was in need of some new batting gloves.  New batting gloves that happen to be your team's colors are even better.

This teeth whitening kit just arrived in the mail.  I haven't tried yet, but I promise to keep you posted on my thoughts when I do.

When a big kid happens to have a break and they're walking around aimlessly looking for something to do that's still quiet, I suggest this game every time.  Britt is a fan!

Shay told me how much her girls like this version.  Britty prefers this one if I'm being honest.

Again on the search for Bowen to find some great reads, I ordered this set.  He's been reading them to me daily during independent reading time.

Andrea shared this read-aloud so Bowen and I have been reading it together as well.

Ebby Lee has been reading this one.  Bless her heart.  She doesn't even know what's gonna happen.

Two of Ebby Lee's friends recommended this one.  They know her well because she loved it!

Bowen's team needed a set of these training balls.  Coach Tab delivered!

That wraps up my list of what I've been Priming lately!  Happy Wednesday, Friends!

I'm gonna take tomorrow to get all my people off to school.  I'll be back here on Friday!
XO

My son read Where the Red Fern Grows that last year in 6th grade and he was heartbroken! But he will still say it was a great book. Love the oldies but goodies when it comes to books for kids. Hope the first day of in-school goes great this week. We start mid-September and then go hybrid mid-October.

You have meat issues. Legit issues. BUT I totally love that instead of going vegetarian, you just get instruments to help you pound it more. Hahaha!

We LOVE our little meat tool and can't believe how much easier it makes making tacos! And POOR SWEET PRECIOUS EBBY LEE. :(

If you are looking for a great series for Bowen, the Dragon Masters one is great! There are 16 books right now with more to come. Have two boys who tore through all the books over quarantine. Everyday Reading has so many awesome lists for boys and graphic novel suggestions too!

Just curious if your kids have preferred masks? I have ordered most of ours through amazon or Target. In our state masks are required for all kids over age 2. When we eventually go to hybrid learning masks will be required all day at school. They each have a pencil case for clean masks and one for dirty masks that will also go to school.

Priming things here like desks lamps and office chairs!

I have meat issues too, Andrea. I love the meat chopper and pretty much anything that involves me not touching meat (probably have more issues than you, lol).

I love to see kids enjoying books. My sons loved reading when they were young and still do when they can. Good luck with school!

I despise touching meat. And yes, I like my ground beef chopped up and not in big chunks. Love this tool but I'm not sure where mine came from! I also use gloves to shape meatloaf!

My meat chopper is probably my favorite kitchen utensil!

I read Where The Red Fern Grows once. Never again. Please give her a hug from me when she's done!

Good luck with school tomorrow! Woo hoo!!
I love a good meat chopper, couldn’t make ground anything without it. I got mine from Pampered Chef, and it’s great!

Matthew read Where the Red Fern Grows last year (or a two years ago?) and it was not good. haha But he immediately wanted to watch the movie so we found that old one on Amazon Prime, I think, and he watched it too. So I guess it didn't traumatize him too much! 😂 That Inspired Chick
