Our Weekend in Pics

Hey!  Hey!  Hey!

How was your weekend?  Ours began with the cutest little T-WRECKS tee-ball team playing baseball while the Slaughter family cheered them on!  They were THE cutest!  It's hard to remember my boys being so small.

These two are our neighbors {each on opposite sides} and they happen to think my boys are the "big boys" on the street.  We went to dinner at Local Yocal in downtown McKinney and then made our way over to the ballfields to cheer.  These boys will go to kindergarten with Britt next year.  :)

Man, oh man...this whole "big kid" thing happens quickly.  I know when you're in the trenches with little kids it's easy to wish for them to be a little bigger.  Mamas, trust me...it'll be here before you know it!

When we got home after the game, we realized our internet and television were both out.  Of course, it HAD to happen on the first big Saturday of college football.  Womp!  Womp!  The technician wasn't available until Sunday so Saturday we had to change our plans a bit.

My parents arrived late, late, late Friday night but were up early for the first football game of the day watching Nixon and the Irish.  They played two games back to back so we did a little carpooling and my parents took Bowen over to watch him play...
flag with the Tigers!

Nix and I made it to Bowen's game with three plays left in the game.  I'm going to be splitting my game watching every Saturday.  {Pssst....my tee is this one.}

Bowen and his little team kicked off the season with a WIN!

He was so pumped to be back on the field!

I'm not sure who was more excited my parents were in town...my parents or my kids.  :)

M came to watch all the Saturday action too!

Instead of grilling and watching football, we walked around the neighborhood, ordered pizza, and fished in the lake.  Meanwhile, we saw these hot air balloons Saturday morning and again that evening.

One group saw us down on the street below and waved.

MADE.  HER.  DAY.

Sunday was LAUNCH Sunday at our church so all the kids moved up to their new classes.  It felt so good to be back in the building!  Afterwards, the internet technician got us all straightened out, but it lead me to question, "How'd we ever live without the internet?".  Really?  We ended the weekend with two evening baseball games for Nixon and began our week really tired.  #truestory

Hope your weekend was a great one!  See you tomorrow!
XO

I love watching the hot air balloons! We've been seeing a bunch of sky divers with their parachutes lately.

It doesn't matter how many times I see the balloons, they get me every single time.
