Friday Favorites-9.18.20

Happy FRIDAY!

Andrea and I are bringing you another round of FRIDAY FAVORITES!  Like always, we invite you to join us!

This week I only have FIVE FAVORITES, but they're good.  Grab a small cup of coffee and check them out!

A new FAVORITE Peloton workout class...Bike Bootcamp!  I've always wanted to try the regular bootcamp classes Peloton offers but you need a treadmill.  Not anymore!  Now there are classes with a bike/strength training combination.  I tried a beginner class yesterday and LOVED IT!  It was hard, I was a sweaty mess, and I LOVED IT!  Right now there are only a couple classes, but I'm sure they'll continue adding more.  It was so good to be done with a workout in thirty minutes and to have gotten both cardio and weight training taken care of.

A FAVORITE lunch around here....I put a handful of these in the air fryer for about 15 minutes and then throw them on a salad with some hot sauce and Ranch as my dressing.  Just like that FAVORITE Chicken Cobb Salad from Chick-fil-A {I'm looking at you, Shay.}  If you're a fan of that, you should try this veggie buffalo wing/salad combo.

I was a hot mess from the shoulders up so you're getting to see Crazy Cat Lady instead.  :)  However, I still thought this was worth a share!  Last Friday I had to go by Academy to grab mouth guards, socks, slider shorts, and a handful of other items the boys needed prior to their first fall sports Saturday.  As I made my way into the women's section {just to look, of course} I found this little workout outfit I couldn't resist...tank and leggings.  I couldn't find the leggings online at Academy so I linked them from Nike instead.  It's gonna be a FAVORITE on repeat this fall!

Do you remember when I listened to Jessica Simpson's, Open Book, on Audible and basically felt like Jess and I were having coffee together at a little coffee shop while she told me all about her life?  By the way, I'm certain if we were having coffee she'd want me to refer to her as, "Jess".  Don't you?  Anyway, I'd never experienced Audible like I had when the author was reading her very own personal stories about her life and I was sold!  I'm not sure I'll ever read another memoir/autobiography type book ever again.  I definitely prefer to listen!  Which leads me to, Stand All the Way Up, by Sophie Hudson.  I've been listening to this book for the last couple weeks when I'm in the car alone, cleaning, etc. and you guys I have laughed out loud and I have cried!  There's so much more emotion listening to her read and I'm here for it!  Sophie has an incredible gift for sharing her heart which is full of friends, family, football, and Jesus.  You should listen!

I found some of the CUTEST home decor items from Drew Barrymore's new home line at Walmart.  Here are some FAVES to name a few...

And that's it!  I'm thankful it's FRIDAY!  Ready to enjoy the weekend with my people!  See you Monday, Friends!

I love heating up chicken bites like that to put on my salad. It does feel like I've gotten take out.

My sister in law is forever friends with Jessica Simpson and she refers to her as ‘Jess’ when she’s talking about her so if you’re hanging and drinking coffee, I think you’re in ‘Jess’ territory too ;)!
