Time to pray

It's June 1st, and on my blog calendar this week it says, "GIVEAWAY!!".  Shay and I have a huge Mix and Match Travel Agency giveaway ready to go but in light of what's happening in our country right now, as much as we like to be light in the darkness and are so very excited about getting to spread happiness with a giveaway, it is just not the time.

You know what it is the time to do?
Pray.
Shay and I talked about it this weekend trying to decide what to do and we came up with the idea of instead of reading our blogs this week, we'd love to ask you to take those several minutes every day and spend them in prayer.
There is so much in our world you could be praying about, so if you're a person of faith, that's what we're hoping you do this week during the time you normally read our blogs.  Please know I'll be praying right alongside you.

If you have any specific prayer requests right now about things you would like someone to pray over, feel free to leave it in the comment section of my post or email me at alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com.  I will be praying this week over our country, our world and over any prayer requests you share.

God bless you.
XO

For my knee replacement surgery to go well this morning. I’m praying over my surgeon, his team and the surgery center and leaving it in His hands. Would love any extra prayers you have to offer. I’m praying for peace and love to endure in our country as well. God bless.

Praying for our country and those who so desperately need the Lord. Please pray for my husband and sons - we have our own business and things have been tense as of late - pray for wisdom/discernment on the direction the business needs to go. Thanks so much.

I posted this on Shay’s page too but wanted to do the same here. As I noted there it is not directed just at you Erika, but at everyone reading:

Praying is great but action is also required. Don’t just pray for change, be the change! Make donations to charities that support this cause, speak out to friends and family who still hold racist views, vote for progressive ideas, read about the black experience, diversify your social media feeds with people of colour.

My prayer is for people to see all human beings as such, human beings. To feel the pain of others even if you have never and will never experience that same pain.

Prayer request for a special lady that needs a miracle. A breast cancer momma that was unexpectedly sent home from receiving treatment to go on hospice care due to complications.
Also, prayers for comfort for her sweet family.

I would love to have you join me in praying that we get TPR for our foster children. They have been our children for three years. We go to court on July 21st. Also please pray for my bio daughter who is 8. She has been diagnosed with scoliosis. We are not only living in an uncertain world, but things are uncertain for our families future. We are praying God's will be done.
God Bless
