My Little Artists

Yesterday was the art show at preschool so I took pictures of my little artists and their work.

Ebby Lees is the purple sunflower.

Nixon did not want his picture taken. His is the fabulous finger paint in the left corner.

More Catching Up...

Friday, Miss Priss dressed herself. Can you tell? We were still home bound due to Nixon's RSV(although he seemed to be feeling SO much better) we did nothing but play ALL day!
Sunday...we were all feeling lazy so we headed to Market Street for dinner. Nixon and I dressed alike both in our camo pants. It was so nice at Market Street on Sunday night. There was NO ONE there...we went upstairs and had almost the whole place to ourselves. The t.v. had the game on...I'm tempted to go back every Sunday night!

Monday...Daddy got to hang out all day with us! He and Ebby Lee had a date. They went to watch the new Alvin & the Chipmunks movie. She had a, popcorn, and a soda??

She was WIPED out when they got back. She was SO excited that she never took a nap. Apparently, dates with Daddy can be exhausting!

That means this little guy got to have a date with me! His wasn't as much fun. We ran some errands.

Wednesday we went to Groovy Kids to get Nixon's hair cut and I decided to get Ebby Lee's cut too. I think it was a Kirby Cox inspiration. Ebby Lee and Kirby have a similar issue...thin blonde hair, but Kirby's cut made it look a lot thicker. I thought I'd give it a try. This is her 1st haircut!

Pre-cut picture of the back

This wasn't Nixon's first rodeo....probably his 8th haircut! ha!

She didn't cut much b/c let's be honest...there's not a lot to cut. She just straightened it out a little bit. I love it! It's a cute little bob and I really do think it makes her hair look thicker!

Some of our sweet friends, the Venters, had their baby boy, Peyton, this week. Tab was out of town, so the kiddos and I headed to the hospital to get our hands on him! We went at 5:00, so I packed dinner for the kids. It ended up keeping them pretty busy. Perfect!

Peyton & Casey (AKA...Proud Daddy)

They thought Baby Peyton was too cute! Congratulations Venters!

Hello 21st century!!!

I finally got an iPhone and just realized how to blog the pictures on my phone. Here's a random assortment of pics...

Ebby Lee at Disney on Ice with her souvenir Ariel.

Nixon went to the grocery store with me and stole this candy while we were checking out. Good try, Nix! Don't worry we took it back and he said,"sorry".

Santa baby all ready for her party!

Nixon's sweet Christmas gift to me that he made at preschool.

Nixon's favorite hiding place...inside the refrigerator!

Trampolines can really do some damage to this hair!

Lori and I went to the Cotton times!!

Best thing about Wal-Mart...this horse!

Last Few Days...

Thursday... Ha ha! Seriously the best picture of the kiddos I could get before we left for school.

We met some friends at this really cool park in Frisco.

Miss Priss strikin' a pose before headed out to run errands/gym/lunch.

Mr. Man was ready too.

It was a nasty cold day on Monday so when we woke up from naps we all snuggled on the couch. It was the perfect snuggling movie watching weather.

After school...poor Nix went to the doctor and has RSV. Tab took him the doctor and bless his heart when they got back Nixon was so excited to see Ebby Lee. It made this Mama SO happy!! So...we had more snuggling time after all that.

Since Nixon is sick, we're stuck in the house for a while. Ebby Lee and I made some sparkly snow paint this morning.

Nixon wanted to watch The Lion King..."No paint". His words...not mine!

Our finished proud!

Who knows what else we'll come up with for the rest of the week? :) Nixon does have a nasty cough and a fever, but he luckily isn't acting like he feels that bad. In between shows, he's getting up and running around. Good sign!! Happy Wednesday!

Catch Up...

This picture cracks me up! Ebby Lee's hair is a mess! Tab ALMOST closed his eyes for the pic, but it was the best I had! I'm catching up over the last week. One night last week when Tab got home from work just the four of us grabbed some dinner.
Nixon loves getting his picture taken. :)

On Sunday, we got all decked out in our Cowboys clothes. Ready to cheer them on!

Everyday after naps, we go jump on the new trampoline. They LOVE it! Here...they look like, "Hurry up and take the picture so we can jump"...don't they?

Miss Priss striking a pose.

Nix wouldn't be still for a picture.

We've been having SO much fun jumping on that thing!

We met some friends at the park too! So good to see everyone after the busy holidays.

Now I'm all caught up and I've gotta keep it that way!!

These 2 got lost...

in the craziness of my computer actin' a fool!! So here are 2 more from MO...Eating our yummy dinner of BBQ!
Ebby Lee took a nice big Christmas nap on sweet!
