What's Up Wednesday-February 2019

Hey!  Hey!  It's the last WEDNESDAY of the month, which means it's time for What's Up Wednesday...with Sheaffer and Shay.  Did February FLY by or WHAT?

What We're Eating This Week...
Monday-We had Chicken Tortilla Soup.

Tuesday-We had ALL THE THINGS so Chopped Beef Sandwiches were on the menu and were eaten whenever you popped into the kitchen or got finished with dance, baseball practice, etc.

Wednesday-Crockpot Chicken Tacos...easy peasy!

Thursday-Baseball season begins at our house.  But first up-Slightly Sweet Sloppy Joes are a family favorite!

Friday-And I have no doubts the kitchen will be closed...dinner out!

What I'm Reminiscing About...
With Spring Break on the horizon, I've been reminiscing about one of my FAVORITE vacations EVER!  Our Spring Break 2018 Disney Land and Sea vacation with the Shull crew.  You can read about ALL our fun in...

What I'm Loving...
I'm LOVING this book and I can't shut up about it.  I wish I'd have known about it when I was potty training my older three because basically everything the author says NOT to do, I did.  It would have saved me a TON of time!  But..the point is-I'm LOVING it!

What We've Been Up To...
We took a little field trip to Peppa Pig World in Grapevine with Shay and Madeley on Friday.  The picture is super blurry but the only one I took!  SO MUCH FUN!  It's basically a big room full of preschool age appropriate things...tricycles, slides, etc. and it's all made out of soft material.  Really-a great place for preschoolers and Peppa fans!

This week spring sports begins so we've had a bit of a break in between winter and the upcoming season.  Now, it's all sports all the time!

What I'm Dreading...
I'm not dreading a thing right now.  Great news!

What I'm Working On...
I'm in the midst of switching rooms and closets around upstairs.  I'll give you a look when it's all finished.  I'm trying my best to make things as functional as possible.

What I'm Excited About...
The Slaughters are headed back to the slopes for Spring Break this year and I'm READY!  Getting away with my people is one of my favorite things.

This is what I said last month and I'm still feeling the SAME WAY!

What I'm Watching/Reading...
I haven't watched this yet, but I heard I need to watch A Star is Born.  Have you watched??  It's on my weekend to-do list.

What I'm Listening To...
One of my college roommates was a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and she converted me.  Lately, it's been all Fleetwood Mac radio on Pandora.

What I'm Wearing...
I've been wearing these three Amazon finds on repeat...leopard on the left, camo in the center, and pink leopard on the right.

What I'm Doing This Weekend...
It's our very last weekend without ALL THE THINGS.  {And apparently, I can't stop talking about that either!}  If you can't tell, I'm doing my best to soak it up!

What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month...
This!

What Else Is New...
I've been swimsuit shopping online lately and I just wanted to offer up my thoughts {without pictures-hahaha!}.  Dillard's let me down but both Cupshe and J Crew made up for it!  Just in case you're in the market for a new suit or two this summer.  I'd highly recommend taking a look at those retailers.

What's My Family's Favorite Board Game...
I've gotta be honest.  Card games like Uno are much more our jam than board games.  Dominoes would be a close second...chicken foot style.

That's all I have for today!  Hope you have the BEST Wednesday!

XO

We love Chicken Foot in our house. I have fond memories of staying up late with my grandparents playing this game when I would spend the night at their house.

I know I'm in the minority but I really did not enjoy A Star is Born at all. We made a new dish this week; I took our leftover sloppy joe meat (with the sauce) and mixed it up with some cooked macaroni then topped it with cheese... so good!
